On Waiting
Someone told me and subsequently I tell other people, the two most important things for a writer to have in this industry: Patience and Persistence.
But the truth is...
Waiting is torment. Yet people require it of you at every stage of the road to publication.
When you're looking for an agent: if the process is at it's quickest, you wait for agents to read the query, your ms gets requests, and you wait for the agent to read and respond.
Once you have an agent: you go out on submission and wait for editors to respond.
Once you have an editor and a book deal: you wait for your contract, you wait for your editorial notes, you wait for your copy edits, you wait for your cover, you wait to see your manuscript actually become a book.
The thing is, for all the waiting writers do, industry professionals are also waiting right along side them.
Many of the offers of representation I've made, I've waited to find out whether or not that writer would choose me (all the while, going "pick me, pick me!" and annoying everyone in my office with my constant "But I'll die if I don't get it" whining). When I go out on submission with a manuscript, I'm waiting for editors to read (cue more annoying whining everyone in the office has to deal with - I'm horribly impatient).
Editors also have to wait. During auctions, they're waiting to hear if they're going to be able to get the book they love so much. When buying a book, they often have to wait for approval from bosses, from sales and marketing. Then they wait for the art department for the cover and the booksellers for the order numbers and then the reviewers, bloggers, and book buying public to hear how the book does.
So, how do we cope with all this waiting?
I read more and throw myself into long hours at work (and whine to my colleagues). Which works for me.

Because I don't want to ruin anything for anyone else - ah! the twists! All I can say is, after reading Clockwork Angel (in a day), I'm rereading The Mortal Instruments Trilogy because I'm dying to stay in Cassandra Clare's world.

Sixteen-year-old Tessa comes to London to join her brother, but is imprisoned by the grotesque Dark Sisters. Testing the new Leica f/1.4 35mm Summilux-M ASPH lens
The latest M-lens release from Leica is an update of its famous 35mm 1.4 Summilux-M ASPH. Since this is a lens known for its sharpness, I concentrated my tests on architectural subjects with plenty of detail. My results show that this may be the sharpest lens ever made by Leica, and is, perhaps, the sharpest camera lens of all time. Although similar in design to its predecessor, this version has a floating element, and improved close focus.

The Achilles heal of wide angle lens on full frame digital cameras is in the corners of the frame where the image is often soft unless the lens is stopped down to f/5.6 or more. Typically, these shorter focal lengths are also prone to vignetting and barrel distortion, but these aberrations are easily corrected in post-processing. My brick wall test on a full-frame Leica M9 showed some corner softness at f/1.4, less but still present at f2. but almost disappearing at f/2.8 -- all in all, very acceptable for a wide angle lens. At f/1.4 the brick wall test showed minimal vignetting, which disappeared when stopped down to f/2 and beyond.
Wide open at 1.4 the Summilux has a pleasing bokeh.

The beauty of a 1.4 lens is shooting hand held at night.
Conclusion: Leica continues to improve its lenses for the greater demands of digital cameras while maintaining quality considerations for its older film M bodies. Other manufacturers often allow barrel and pincushion distortion along with vignetting in newer digital lenses on the theory that this is readily correctable with digital post-processing. Leica still has a loyal film camera user base where these corrections are not easily made.
Bottom line is that this is the sharpest lens I have ever used. Couple that with the high speed f/1.4 diaphragm and you have a real winner.

Langkah – Langkah Pembuatan Blog
Setelah selesai Anda membuat akun di Google (gmail) atau bagi Anda yang sudah memiliki akunnya, langkah selanjutnya dalam membuat blog yakni:
1. Masuk ke situs Google, kemudian klik “masuk”.
2. Kemudian Anda login akun Anda, dengan memasukan ID akun dan passwordnya, kemudian klik ”masuk”.
3. Setelah itu Anda masuk ke situs www.blogger.com , masukan kembali password akun Google (gmail) Anda, dan klik ”masuk”.
4. Setelah itu ikuti langkahnya dan masukan ”Nama Tampilan” sesuai dengan selera Anda, dan beri tanda cek (V) pada ”Saya menerima Persyaratan dan Layanan” .
5. Tulis Judul Blog Anda kemudian buat alamat URL blog. Untuk alamat URL blog Anda bebas memberi alamatnya, asalkan sesuai dengan ketersediannya di Blogger/Blogspot tersebut. Oleh karena itu, setelah Anda memberi alamat URL blog Anda, terlebih dahulu dicek ketersediaannya kalau tersedia Anda bisa langsung klik ”Lanjutkan”.
6. Kemudian pilih Tema (Theme) Template sesuai dengan selera Anda, setelah selesai terus klik Lanjut dan Anda sudah berhasil membuat sebuah blog.
Setelah Anda berhasil membuat blog, sekarang yang Anda lakukan adalah mem-posting-kan hasil tulisan atau kreativitas Anda di blog Anda.

A CellCraft walkthrough...?
An educational and genuinely fun to play game, that is how they describe Cellcraft. It was made from the real world of cells so it would be indeed educational. “You don’t understand,” Gabe said. “There’s an epic battle for your soul.”
“It’s not really a battle,” Luc said. “Fate, Dan and Slevin already decided the outcome.”
“Who’re they?” Frannie asked.
“I’ll explain later. For now, come with me.”
“Yeah. If you want to die. Come with me.”
She looked between them. The safe choice was the angel. So she chose the demon.
Wrapping his arm around her waist, her guided her to the water’s edge.
“Release the Krokos!”
As the sea began to boil, and a sage-colored light lit the demon’s maniacal grin, she understood.
Fate screwed her.

“What were you two doing out there anyway?”
“Practicing lines. She’s up for the starring role in FinePrint’s community theater rendition of Bill and Slevin’s Epic Adventure. She’s having trouble with the...you know—love scene.”
“FinePrint doesn’t have a community theater.”
“Oh.”
